If you have a little one you would like to love fishing as you do, Chistmas is a good time to start. Feed the stocking with a pole suited for the beginners age and size and an IOU for an early spring fishing outing (that way Mom won't get upset about the weather, ice fishing can come later) If anyone likes this idea and wants more information, just answer this post.

Great Idea there Windy!
The stocking will not hold the new rod and real that I picked up for my fiance! I hid it in the closet a couple of months ago when she had trouble with my open face. She mentioned that she had no gear and likes the ease of use of the close faced reels.
