A friend and i met at the walmart in lindon at 7:00 I was A bit late "KIDS" they got left home!! We stopped by the ladders on the way to soldier creek started to fish by about 8:30 it was strange we both got the same number of fish 1 bow 10 cut and one slot buster each for a total of 24 fish.

The fishing slowed by about 9:50 so we headed on to soldier creek arriving there shortly after 10:00 we lost count of how many we caught by noon knowing it was at least 45 with 2 or 3 slot busters each but nothing worthy of a picture the biggest was 23.5 fishing started to slow there so we head out for home but we had to pass the ladders agian so no choice but to stop caught 6 more each with one being about a 20 inch bow i ran out of bait by 1:30 and the wife had plans so we made it home by about 3:00 it was a nice quite day without the kids and fishin was even ok

The Berry has been hot lately. My father and I caught 68 between 7AM and 11:30AM Saturday trolling the SC side.

Nothing huge but a lot of fun.

there is a ton of little bows all over the soldier Creek side we mainly caught cuts in fact we only caught four rainbows all day fhose little rainbows are more of a nuisance then anything else. you get tired of taking them off and throwing them

It might have something to do with them stocking it over 30 times in the last month.

Man I have a LONG way to go as a fisherman before I consider catching anything but Lake Powell catfish a nuisance!

12 inch bows stealing your bait and chasing away all the bigger fish drive me crazy nothing to do with any one as a fisherman but giant schools of fish they just dump in the lake is sometimes even hard not to catching them i have tried
