Hello,
So the friends and family I have wanting to fish this weekend would like to go to Pineview. Where is the best place to fish from the shore?
I have never been there before.
Trout, Perch, Panfish are what will most likely be targeted, although I will most likely try and get some bass attention.
Thanks for your input.

There is access in Eden. When on the highway in Eden you will find a side street with a school on the corner. Follow this all the way to the end. Great spot. I was there today with my daughter pounding the bass.

I hope you have luck as well. This spot I noticed had the deeper water than the other spots we stopped at. There are probably others but didn't have time to check them out.

One of the better FREE spots is the parking area on the north side of the east end of the narrows. Take the road across the dam, go a mile and there it is.
Right off the parking lot it is steep, deep and rocky. If you follow the footpath around to the north, you can fish the little bay formed by Ratlesnake Creek. The round point just beyond has a shallower sand beach that smallmouth love.
Another popular spot is across the road from the Ranger's house (again, take the road across the dam but go only a quarter mile). It's right at the barrier chain. Steep, deep and very rocky. You'll lose a lot of bottom tackle, but there are lots of fish there, usually. A slip-float rig is ideal here.
