My wife's first pike

After hooking up but losing 2 pike last year including a good sized one it was time to get my wife her first pike. We went to Yuba and I took her to a spot that tie dye had suggested. on her 2 nd cast she hooked into a nice fish and was finally able to land her first pike a nice 32" 10 lbs pike. We only had 2 other fish on and lost both but it did not matter, you could not get the off her face or mine. Will post a picture when I figure out how to.

Nice job on the pike! Isn't that how it usually goes? I took my boy out last year for tiger muskies and it only took him 10 min to catch his first muskie ever and a +40"er at that!

After that pike she lost off the dock last year it was about time she redeemed herself. Of course this time you were on that boat. Did you take the kids with you?

I still remember when your wife lost that one nice fish last year when I was running my big net toward her. At least she finally got one I'm still on the hunt for one.
