Tying the knot and Headed South
#1
Im getting married this coming weekend and then heading south for a week. Headed to Navajo lake and a few other areas. Im a northern guy and not too familiar with southern utah and the fishing it has to offer! Trying to figure out where i should stop and fish along the way and what ... Dont think we are going to take the boat.... SO it will be shore tangling! I know there are several reservoirs down there... Which ones are worth fishing from shore doesn't really matter what kind of fish, just want to be doing a bit of catching..... Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated just P.M. me!!!!

Congrats!

Try these: Tropic Reservoir, southwest of Bryce Canyon N. P.; Pine Lake, northwest of Bryce Canyon; Posey Lake and Barker (North Creek Lakes) Reservoir, northwest and west of Escalante. Maybe Yankee Meadows or Kolob if you can get in.

Have fun!

Good sized rainbows cutts and tigers. Last time I was there a couple years ago we caught a bunch of fat healthy bows. Bait will work. Or any of your other of the classic techniques jigs spinner raps. The river below panguitch has some pretty nice browns in it too. If u really want good fishing drive up to boulder or fish the Fremont down by bicknell.

Fishing with your honey-bunny on your honey-moony! I'm officially jealous! Does she have a sister? No really!

Good luck on both the wedding, and the fishing adventures! At least we won't have to worry about you catching any big cats while you're down south! (bwaahaha)

Congrats on "the knot." Posey and Pine are my favorites down that way.

You really need about two months to cover all the lakes and streams down there. Anything to get you away from Cutler.[Wink]

Best to ya.
