Hooray. Sounds like fun. Nice to get your bass on! Had my first run at the bucket mouths this past weekend, though not nearly as many, though I did toy with at least that many bluegill also.
You didn't say where, so I'll leave it at that.
Ever thought about giving Sparky a life jacket? Just wonder if a float would help out the 'ol pup - could relax and just move about without having to work so hard.
Just a thought. Got one for my pup if I ever figured out a platform for the boat. Has a handle even - thought that would facilitate lifting her into the boat.
But your's is a better water breed me thinks.

I like reading your posts because I know we fish alot of the same areas up north. How were the water levels? I'm going to head up that way here in the coming weeks.

Swimming is a great exercise. That's good to hear that he is doing so well. He can still swim in the vest.
I guess I'm a little paranoid. A good friend's husband drowned in American Falls Res. when he swam out to rescue his dog that was struggling.

Yeah, it's a little low. There weren't really any rushes to speak of in the water this year. It made spawning areas a little trickier to find, but the fishing has still been very good up there.
