It was a great fish My measure net had it at 25 inches but it was really thick. didnt weight it as it was a long fight and wanted to get it back in the water, also my new scale should only be used if your planing on keeping the fish.

Most of those it is better to weigh them in the net. Just hook it to the net - weigh it - subtract the weight o the net.
No matter--- that is a beautiful, very healthy fish. I bet it was quite a fight. I love fish with shoulders like that.

Never got to weigh any today at Walcott, lots of bucks hanging around the fry. The wife had a good one to the boat on a night crawler. You guys catch any trout? we launched at the same time this morning, we were in the silver/red champion.

Awesome fish!
Seems like the harder you have to work to start catching, the better the fish.

The good fish came out of 15 ft of water, the wind made it kinda tough to fish plastics, but it sure helped keep the temps tire bearable. Lots of bass fry. Since I quit drink beer, I don't fish for trout on purpose

Bass must not mind the warm water like trout. lol I fish for trout cause my wife cant cast due to atv accident But i sure do miss fly fishing. But your right the wind was the only thing that kept us out that long I don't like the warm temps either
