The past few trips on the jordan River.
#1
My neighbors and I have been night fishing for catfish several times over the past few weeks on the Jordan river. We've been able to get into some quality fish, with the biggest going 29.5 inches. We've also lost several other big ones, and nearly a few poles from being dragged in. None of us have a scale, so I have no idea how heavy they were.

Nice kitties! Could you give an approximate (100 South) coordinate?

That 29.5" is a hog! Gotta be close to 10 lbs if not a bit more. Hopefully you let it go so it can get bigger and then I can catch it Smile [fishon]

I fish the Jordan quite often, the best I've had this year is a 27" - 7lb'er. It's a pleasant surprise to find out how many Utah anglers prefer going after cats, they may not jump like Bass or Trout, but boy are they strong. Some of the cookie cutter cats fight as hard as the larger ones.

We need you on the south's team for the Utah Catfish contest - we could use a 29+ incher

Anyways, well done sir, best of luck.
