I'm somewhat of a beginner. I just bought a new bait caster reel. When I went to fish, I cast it and caught a sunny. I reeled it in and the reel began to tic-tic-tick and the line stopped being reeled in. I had to reel it by tugging on the string with my hand. It must be something I'm doing wrong. Why did the reel start to "give" just when I was pulling the fish in? Is there something I didn't do to the reel? I know there's a knob in back and when I switch it to the left side the line is loose. When I switch it to the right side the line is taught. That's how I had it set when I caught the fish. Help...
