Can I have some recommendations for a camping spot within approximately 2 hours of Utah County that is a free spot with trailer that is close to a good fishery, do not care whether it is stream, lake, or reservoir. Also, a place that is fun for the kids. I will be camping with a bumper pull trailer towards the end of September so not to cold during the day, night time do not care as much as we will be in a trailer. Any comments would greatly be appreciated. [fishon]

Another fishing hole you should consider is Pelican Lake. It's probably a little more than 2 hours from Utah County, but not too much more. The lake has bluegill and largemouth bass that are fairly easy to catch and that could be fun for your kids.
There is a BLM campground on the south side of the lake and a concrete boat ramp. There are some pit toilets and picnic tables spread out near the boat ramp. September should be a good time for the fishing and the bugs should be gone by then. Good luck.
