I'm heading down tomorrow as well. I am going to fish in the morning. Had too good of a time last week. I only caught two but they were worth the drive and the time. Before last week I hadn't caught a pike since I lived in Flagstaff, AZ, about 17 years ago.
The steel leaders have all been retied, fire-tiger and whit/chart is bright as ever. Can't wait to go. It may be horrible but the opportunity to catch a leg-sized fish is too great. Not too many fishing weekends left this year. Nearly time to put the boat away focus on skiing.
