Offshore and bay fishing are good from Port Aransas area reports.

"Over-all fishing during the week was good," said Deep Sea Headquarters.
On the daily trips, they’re catching kingfish, Atlantic sharpnose shark and "great quantities" of beeliners. Two nice wahoo, the biggest weighing in at 75 pounds, also were landed.
The long range trips have been "super" . Anglers caught yellowfin and blackfin tuna, dorado and amberjack.
"We’re catching a lot of fish," said Fisherman’s Wharf.
Anglers are coming back to the dock with kingfish, lane and vermilion snapper, triggerfish and "lots" of Atlantic sharpnose shark.
Two gray snapper also were caught during the week.
Dolphin Dock Inc. said fishing was "pretty decent" all week.
Anglers caught a few tuna and a nice bunch of kingfish. They also caught nice amberjack and lots of vermilion and lane snapper.
Anglers caught big sandbar and blacktip shark weighing between 100 to 130 pounds.
"Fishing’s been good when we’ve gone," said Offshore Adventures.
The 12-hour trips are still producing kingfish, shark, amberjack, yellowfin and blackfin tuna.
The trips to fish in state waters are resulting in catches of red snapper, black drum, redfish and a "few shark".
Horace Caldwell Pier said anglers are continuing to catch redfish, drum, speckled trout and whiting as well as some big gafftop.
Anglers on the north jetty are catching a few more sheepshead, nice redfish and lots of speckled trout on the channel and surf sides, according to Woody’s Sports Center.
They are catching lots of big flounder at Charlie’s Pasture.
Bay guides are catching mainly speckled trout mixed with a few black drum and redfish.
