Made the final boat trip to the berry with the great forecast today. Fished the whole day East of Haws going back and forth towards the Narrows. Between the two of us we landed 44 fish. The bows in this area are nice 16 to 18 inchers. We had an equal mix of slot cutts and bows. We stayed in 74 ft of water all day. A lot of stuff floating in the water down to 25 ft. but we still caught lots of fish in it. My son fished pop gear and a worm all day. I used a sling blade and worm. I also ran a triple teaser with chub skin, 3 colors out and the bows were loving it. Now we will wait for the berry to freeze in a couple of months.
