Birch Creek and Woodruff
#1
Was going to head up to the Birch Creek and Woodruff reservoir area to do some fishing next weekend. Wondered if anyone had some advice/pointers/secret bait ideas for me? ;-) Thanks in advance.

For woodruff, 1/4 oz white or motor oil colored tube jigs tipped with a small piece of crawler off of a tube/toon/small boat(probably have to carry a small boat to the water). From shore, a black or olive Woolley bugger 6' behind a full bubble.
For birch, size 2 or bigger panther martins in gold and black or medium sized chrome and blue spoons off of the dam. This worked for me during the deer hunt.
I did manage two from shore at woodruff using jigs, but drifting and jigging works better. I fish woodruff a lot like bear lake. Same lures and tactics but just a bit smaller. (I just don't make it there very often)
Hope that helps, good luck!
