I hit the Berry after the DWR meeting, I did not stay for the hole thing I walked out at 11:00 to go fishing..
It was a good thing I did go fishing and at the Berry, I had to save a fly rod from drowning..
It had not been in the lake too long the fish on the line was dead but still on..
The rod is a Sage 9' and I will give it back to the one that lost it if you can tell me what kind of reel and fly was on it and where on the lake it was lost..
Oh yes the fishing was slower then my last trip, but it it was in the morning..

Bassrods,
I will have my buddy contact you. He really did loss a Sage 9 foot back in the early spring. I know where but not the rest. Should not have been in very deep water now.

I saw your post and hopefully this is my rod!
I dropped it from my pontoon last spring off in the Soldier Creek area.
The rod was a Sage VXP 5 wt. with a Ross Cimmaron reel and full sinking line. The fly I can not recall, a streamer of some type I am sure.
If it sounds like mine, please call. 801-232-2279. I am more than willing to provide a reward.
Thanks, JR
