Artificial Perch Eye

I was looking at tackle and what not and came across this. Think it'll work? Better or worse than the real thing?

Yeah I know! I had my doubts but several forum member swear by them(the real eyes not the artificial). Who'd a thunk!?!?

I cant say that I'm a perch expert but if I ever manage to get one in to use the eye for bait I literally get a fish every time my line goes in. I got probably 15-20 off one single eye before it fell off. Cant say anything for the fake eye though... I wouldn't knock it till I tried it but it's hard to imagine it doing better than the real thing. little less messy though if you don't want to get your hands dirty []

I dont think I will be running out to buy a jar of those just yet, I wouldnt mind trying one if some one next to me had a few and shared.

I never had much luck with the real ones, to the fake ones dont really impress me all that much.
