I just fished my first bass tournament with Southern Utah Bass Anglers (SUBA). It was awesome weather and everyone seemed to catch a lot of fish. I was blown away by how many good bass were caught. No super mammoths, but a lot of 4 lbs fish.
The majority of the fish were caught out deep around 30 ft from what I could gather. I caught a few shallower. Drop shotting, and throwing jigs seemed to be what worked best for me. We caught some fish it was fun.
I did a full write up about it on my blog: krakenbass.com check it out.
Here's a pick of one of the decent deep water fish we caught to get you excited to go out and give it a try. Go crush some bass!
