Any idea how thick the ice is? I'd like to take my daughter before the community fish-out, but only will go if the ice is pretty thick. Paper said 4 inches, but I gotta think there's more than that.

i would say 4 inch is right for a average thickness but some spots the closer to the dam we got were more like 2.5 to 3 inch and some were more like 6 inches we had no problems and was super easy to get on the ice there we didn't see any other holes drilled out there but i am sure we were not the first it was cool to have the lake to our selves we only saw one car drive by all day after this week i am sure the ice is safe up there shot it was safe last weekend for the most part like any thing just use your head and you will be fine i am a big guy 5'10 and 300 lbs and the rest of my group were all grown men
