strawberry help?

I'm takeing my girl fishing tomorrow, she has never been out on the ice. Does anyonehave any sugestions on where we can go that is doing well? This is her first trip and would love it if it was a trip that she would remember. Any help is needed, and thank you.

Fish early or fish late in the day. Stay away from the crowds.

If you go to the marina you don't have to get to far off shore to get into deep water keep that in mind as you walk out. There have been a lot of posts lately on strawberry hopefully you have read some of those. My last trip out on Wednesday the bite had slowed down for us. We caught more fish near the bottom, did see a few come through in the first 10 ft of water from time to time. Not one jig was "hot" for us so I would say try anything you like. Most time white works but last trip out I got nothing on white caught on yellow, green, gold/orange. Bite is lite and electronics helps if you ask me. Good luck.
