Measured about 14" of ice. Fished from 3-6pm off the bottom in about 20+' of water southeast of the boat docks heading towards cemetary point. Hits were very, very light. Strike indicators and light lines were a neccessity. Iced 5 crappie and 1 perch, threw back 4 crappie(under 5"). LOTS of missed hook sets. Friend came out with his hummingbird and saw TONS of activity under water. Ratso w/waxworms, swedish pimples w/waxworms, ice flies w/waxworms, ratfinkies w/waxworms all produced some action. Hopefully the next outing in deeper water will produce bigger crappie. Was a good afternoon to see crappie on the ice, even if we threw most of them back for a second chance. We saw lots of fish try to take the bait. Now it's a matter of setting the hook properly [:p]

You're welcome [Image: happy.gif] I have a couple of friends hit the ice up there again this morning and the last report was quote: "Lots-o-fishy". Not sure how many were kept or thrown back. Still haven't seen pictures [laugh] but was told it was crappie heaven where they're at. Good luck on your outing. Slay'm hard, Fillet'm good...
