Scofield reports?
#1
I have been fishing Scofield all year, best luck using white and pink jigs or green and white jigs tipped with chub or wax worms, it seems like the fishing has slowed a bit near the island on the east side and at the dam arm, is anyone having better luck out there in other places

Last Saturday the 11th, my Dad and I did well in the Dam Arm, icing about 30 fish in 5 hours. Only 3 were chubs. Most were cutts just under or within the slot. A few small planter tigers and bows rounded it out. No big tigers that day.

Thanks I'll have to move back that way I guess, first time we were at the arm we pulled 40 cuts, 3 rainbow and 1 tiger just under the slot. That was a month ago though. After it slowed down we decided to try all over the east side with a lot less luck.

One thing I love about the dam arm is the rocky bottom. Also, the fish were close to shore in about 10 feet of water. They were active all day, even at 1pm. On the sonar we could see them swim up and circle our jigs - had to wiggle the rod tip often enough to keep them interested. I had a second rod in the water off to the side that was kept still, and it only got hit a few times all day.

My best for tip for Scofield as the season wears on is go shallow and if that isn't workin, continue to go shallow.
