Home made strike indicator for ice fishing???

Just curious if any one here make home made. What kind of product your using / where you buy the items and if you a small instruction of how too make it would be nice. Want too experiment around now.

the best I've ever seen is surgical tubing slipped over the top eye and extending a few inches pass the end of the rod and the fishing line slipped though the surgical tubing.

Guitar string. I used to buy the packs at Walmart but they stopped selling them at my store. Guitar string, a bead and electrical tape has been better for me than the store bought wire ones.

Ya I got quite a bit of guitar string and I was trying too make some but I didn't know if it's a good idea too use duck tape. Might try electrical tap. Just love how sensitive guitar strings are.
