Ooops I did it again! Yuba + Bonus report

With the knowledge of my step-dads fishy past, (see pics/report at the bottom of this post) I have been hard pressed to get him to fish with me here in Utah.

Sure enough my last yuba report got him to bite! While being set up at Fish Tech they told me begginers luck might just yeild more big fish for me.

Showed up at 8am, taught him the basics, and sure enough with some begginer's luck, a pike bit his bait.
A nice and healthy 33.25 inch, 9.5lb Northern Pike!


Cause for celebration! (Note hole was dug just enough to chill some beers)


End of the day shot, lost twice and many landed. Smart fish or dull hooks. Yep dull hooks! The rest of the pike ranged from 21 inches to 24 inches and weighed 2lbs to 4lbs 3oz.
