Hoping I can find someone else who has been in this situation. My husband will not go ice fishing with me, so it's just me and the kiddos. I have a baby and a 6 year old. They do everything with me and I'm trying to find a way to take them on the ice. Does anybody here take their kids?
My dad took me when I was way little, but I'm not sure about taking the baby. Are people going to laugh if I'm out there with a playpen? Lol

I would extremely consider not taking a baby out on the ice it's too cold especially for a long 4-8 hr trip. Rather keep the little little one at home safe.

I've taken my kids and grand kids, the youngest was 2 years old and she did great. not sure how old your baby is but I think if she/he is younger then 2, no I would not take them. your 6 year old will have a blast, just go to a place where you can let
them sled down some hills. my girls had great fun, fishing and sledding in the same day.
good luck.
