Tie and Fly Fly Fishing School
#1
Hey everyone! For the past few years Scheels has been hosting the Tie & Fly Fly Fishing School every spring and fall. I am one of the instructors and guides for the class and wanted to announce the dates on here! I've attached the poster for any details about dates and times, but the class is a six week long class, each week is a COMPLETE breakdown of each major component of angling on the fly: Gear, Fish and Bugs, Casting, Reading Lakes and Rivers and then an awesome catered graduation party with raffles and prizes! The big benefit is a guided river trip during the 5th week of the class! All for just $200!

If you've always wanted to learn to fly fish, or even just hone your knowledge and talents come join us! The class is taught by the best guides and staff in the business! Message me with any details or go to www.tieandfly.com/ to sign up!

I've been interested in checking this out since I saw it advertised last year. I know how to fling a fly, but I'm always impressed by how much I don't know, or how much I think I know that is wrong. That price is pretty decent for what you get, it seems, so this might just be a no-brainer. Just curious though, who are the instructors and guides? Are any of them regulars on BFT?

You know, I'm fairly new to BFT and I don't know a lot of the guides usernames. If they are on here, I am not aware of it. There are a handful of guides from Falcon's Ledge and a few from William Joseph, but follow this link: http://www.tieandfly.com/bios/ and you'll find some brief bio's about each guide that helps out with the class. If you have any more questions let me know as well!
