The view

Hit the marsh today in what seems like forever. She did not disappoint. Ended up with 8 cats a bass and some line burners, not a bad day.

Great job! What bait were they after today? And how deep do you figure they were in? Yesterday I could only get them deeper than 6' there. Hoping the warmer water gets them shallower.

Worms and cut bait. 2 to 3 feet is primo this time of year. Find that and you'll find the cats.

I didn't even think about that, I meant valley view. But hey it should get me some extra hits right [Wink]

Cool. 2-3' didn't work for me although I spent most of my time in that zone. Just a few small channel cats. Weird how that works.

Nice to hear from ya, and living up to your name. Well played sir. Yeah - I wasn't even gonna look at the post - figured it was a load of Pineview smallies, maybe some ugly toothy beast but nooo.

Didn't get the 'ride' out for a float eh? Did you get a tape on any of them whiskers? Gonna join the contest this year, or are those the only cats you gonna catch [Wink]

Sounds like a mirror of a report on our FB group. Lineburners - I like that, still like Jeff's "Golden Tarpon" too.

Too bad Sunday brought a cold front. Jeepers!

They ranged from 22 to 26. I lost one toad at the bank that was at least 30. I put my thumb in its mouth, it bit down and gator rolled and I lost it as well as the skin on my thumb. Rookie mistake I guess. A good trip for getting rid of the rust anyhow. Sure I'll join where do I go?
