More sturgeon on a crapy day

I got up at 6 this morning and had everything loaded. I look outside and it looks bad in the sky. I got to the launch a bit late because I was trying to talk my self out of getting in the rain and snow.
I got in the boat while it was raining and endured the next 2 hours of rain with off and on Biblical rain action. To top it off not a fish wanted to play.
Well the clouds parted and the wind stayed reasonable and here came the fish. The first one was a four footer with a lot of pull. Several hours later came number two but I was slow to get the camera on. I caught Luke Skywalker and didn't get it on video. My first jump for the year and I missed it []
He was another four foot + little guy. Then MANY hours later I got the last one. He was a real runt about three foot. As the wind picked up and headed to the truck. Not a super day on Sugar cube creek but not a bad day. Ron

part of the problem was i was in there yesterday with 5 people along with a scout troop ( who somehow got keys to the gate and fished the far bank) and 4 guys who walked up as we left those fish got hanmmered in the last 48 hrs. we caught 5 hooked up with 2 others. Scout trop had fished all night leader said they did about 16

also weather could have been a factor. That 7ft fish that is in there came out of the water for me yesterday it was awsome! Also had a first yesterday one fish i lost straightened a 6/0 hook on me was wild

Ya I should have known better than to hit it on sunday but that was my only day.
