A little bit of everything. You have to admit, there isn't much for fishing reports anywhere. Don't get me wrong , I like BFT but it seems like the reports have really dried up. I don't know if it is because people are tired of being skewered on their threads for keeping fish that are completely legal, or people just plain got tired of giving up info.

glenwood pond is producing some respectable 5"-8" translucent white meated rainbow trout. fish around the moss beds in the late afternoons after the hobos have cleared off the greenbelt. pieces of dried up chevron hotdogs are the ticket. match the hatch!!

To improve the website reports, everyone needs to add comments, information, and reports. Doesn't have to be hotspotting, but information about the methods or even the wildlife are nice additions. The more positive feedback posters receive, then the more likely they will post again. A friendly board takes some giving, some courtesy, and a sense of humor.

You've been a member since May 2011, and I have enjoyed your occasional report or advice on some of the areas you fish.

I know there are a lot who read these boards, and then don't share any information back. Lurkers abound, but if there are no reports at all then there is no real reason for any of us to be here.

Since I joined BFT I have seen some changes. At first most of the reports were only in the SE area of the state. Then a few people started posting about the SW area. Once they started then more joined in. Now the SW area has fairly frequent reports.

The North Idaho area doesn't have many. I have seen quite a few people from the north area join, but then not report since they think they are the only ones there. If they would just report and talk it up more people will eventually add to it. For myself I would like to learn more about the fishing up there. So if any of you "Northern" Lurkers get brave and post, I would appreciate it.

I probably put my $.02 in more than I should, but oh well. At least it entertains me.

Personally I would love to see more reports from your area even if I don't fish there very much.

You are right. I haven't posted much ,mainly due to the fact that I haven't been out too much this year. I do know that IPCO is planning on having Brownlee at or close to full pool by Memorial day weekend and that the perch have been biting at Cascade.

I'd say a little of both. The best thing about BFT isn't the reports it's the network of friends you make that you can swap info with.

Is all I can say is recognize the people who do post by telling them you appreciate it. I have seen it from both ends. I'm definitely guilty of not showing my appreciation for everyone who takes the time to post good information. I have also been on the side where I used to take an enormous amount of time preparing good posts and then I would get 100 lurkers for everyone contributor to the site.

There are many really good people who frequent this site. Some post more than others. If everyone contributed what they could (without hotspotting) we would have a great site.

I have only been a member for a few short months, and have enjoyed the reports I have seen. I was going to post a fishing report for CJ a couple of weeks ago and include some pics .... that is until I saw someone being rediculed about keeping fish and not releasing them. I understand the catch and release and support it, but I also enjoy catching a couple and taking them home to the freezer, never more than I can eat.

I will post future reports/pics but I will refrain from stating whether I kept a few fish or not.

Thanks again to everyone who has provided fishing reports ... like stated we don't need to give up the favorite spots (unless you would like to), just getting reports on the different lakes and maybe what they are biting on sure helps alot.
