Causey (Report)
#1
Just got back from Causey all i can say Is SPLAKE, SPLAKE and more SPLAKE,KOKE's never showed up. Fished in 40 feet of water, we were catching them from top to bottom.A couple of times the fishfinder went black and i thought the KOKE's were coming in, nope they were all SPLAKE. We talked to several other anglers same story, Even though the SPLAKE were only about 8 to 10 " we had a good time and it soothed my fishing fever a bit (you know there is no cure).

Merry xmas to all and when you get a chance

I thought fishing fever was the cure. "Fever" is just a misnomer.

I am glad to hear someone was catching KOKE'S i was hoping to run into some BFT"rs while i was out there. Even though i don't eat fish (I Know i'm nutts) i do eat KOKE's once in a while (sounds like beef might be off the menu too). As for the fishing fever, you stop taking the medicine the fever comes back.

Merry Xmas to all and when you can

Sounds like a good day on the pond, even though you didn't find any Kokes...hopefully next time around.

Where were you fishing? I talked to just about everyone on the way in or as we were walking out. Like Fishdog and a few others have said, if you don't find the kokes move around until you do. We got lucky and found them in one of the first holes we drilled. WH2
