Heading to the Gorge Tomorrow, Any tips?
#1
finally got our fish finder back after getting it fixed, going to finally get back up to the gorge to try and redeam myself after a horrible memorial trip.
launching/staying at lucern, going to probably fish pipeline and into wild horse. got pretty much everything RMT sells, down riggers and fancy dancy humminbird fish finder so i got the hardwear covered just need some insight on where to be, how deep of water to be in, along with how far down to present the bait to get some koke.

would like to troll for some Mac while im there to see if i cant finally catch one (biggest laker i ever caught was a baby pup at like 3lbs) i bought 2 F5 and 2 F7 flatfish and painted them soild white with Kyrlon fusion gloss white, also bought 2 sets of dave daisys gold/silver pop gear to try also

ended up going up just for saturday and went to buckboard, got on the water later then we wanted (7am) due to our 2011 6.7 thinking it was rather funny to keep blowing the CAC boot off.

anyways, we fished the main bay dodging boats, running the Driggers at 15 25 and 30ft. fishing was slow for us but still fun, netted only 4 (2 2.5lb kokes and 2 2lb bows) lost honestly probably 10 or more on the reel in or trying to net them. (seams like there mouths are already getting very soft)
all in all it was a good day on the water, nice little redemption trip and got the skunk off the boat, excited to head up again soon.
