Where to launch at the Pig
#1
I have a 16 Ft. Crestliner. Where can I launch at Porcupine? It's been a while since I've been up there.
I do remember a steep dirt hill you could back down, and park off to the side. any info out there?

That steep dirt hill is still there and usable. The "better" boat launch is all the way in the back. Just a little past where that big spring goes under the road. It is less steep, and is still OK to use as of last Saturday.

You can still launch in that first launch but its a little steep and there is a tree that has it partially blocked it makes it really tight but I have seen a couple guys launch there.. I too would say go to the back launch its not that much further and there is no hill to deal with and no loose gravel to deal with.. When I launched I didnt even have to get my back tires in the water very easy launch. Good luck and the fishing has been good Smile
