Good place to take the kids for small mouth?

I just caught where someone was catching them at Jordanelle. I want to take them out this Sunday from shore. The boy really loves to play with Crawdads as well. Would Jordanelle be the best spot or Rockport?

Deer Creek is pretty good for fast action for little smallmouths. There isn't much above 13 inches but you can also catch green sunfish and largemouth. Did pretty good using standard smallmouth lures a while ago.

So it looks as though Rockport is where we are going to go. Anyone have a good spot for shore fishing smb's?
