Millsite - Sloooow
#1
I fished Millsite today from my kick boat and mostly what I got was exercise. I fished from 8:30 until 1:30 and caught three cutthroats and two rainbows, no tigers, splake or browns this time. I only had six other hits besides the five fish that I caught. All of the fish were caught before 11:00 in the middle portion of the reservoir. I used a fast sinking line with flies in sizes 4-8. A bead head olive leech, a green meannie pattern, and an olive/red crystal bugger. The water temp. was 66-68 degrees and the visibility in the water was about 6'. The reservoir is still 96% full and dropping slowly. I had to dodge a few wave runners, skiers, and three boats that were trolling so it was pretty busy after about 10:00. The weather was hot, the fishing was not.[Wink]

Thanks.
Sorry, no Gilly's or the Grubb Box, my wife was playing in a golf tournament at The Millsite course so we had lunch at the club house. That is as close as I get to a golf course.[Wink]
