Any Western/Buffalo New Yorker's?

Any Western New York/Buffalo Fishers?


I'm new to Fishing. I've been for few weeks with no catches.

Places: Foot of Ferry, Sqaw Island, Black Rock
Lures: Plastic Grubs, Swimbait, Live Night Crawlers/Worms
Times: Early Mornings (5-12), Evenings (6-9)
Method: Shore (No Boat or Boating Card) Working on It.

QUESTIONS:
Are there any other hotspots in the area doing well this year?

I'm planning on trying Niawana Park this weekend. Any one ever fish there
with any results?

I've never tried tube jigs: Hear they're good for bass, crappie. I think I'll also
try this.
