Water temperature has a major affect on fish activity and All fish have a preferred temperature range in which they are most active and, therefore, more susceptible to being caught.
Rob Chambers from RMT said preferred temp. for Kokanee is 52deg
I have heard of 54
So the water temp. at Strawberry Fri 7/18/2014 at about 11: AM was
70 deg on top

saw fish at 45 feet, did put one rigger at 45 but did not get a bite.
