I'm pretty sure it's a bg still. After fishing willow for 14 years I've never caught a sun fish out of that place [Wink].

You may be right; I'm no ichthyologist. The mouth doesn't seem bid enough to be a green, but the coloration and gill flap don't look right for a bluegill.

I agree on the mouth being too small. The spot on the gill does look a bit oblong. They do hybridize a bit, I used to catch hybrids at Salem Pond when I used to fish there. It could be one of those.
