Best Summit County Lakes

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to the state and I'm looking for the best lake to go to in Summit County to get my 2 boys some fishing experience. Looking for a combination of some great fishing of course with the best scenic views as well.

Right now I'm looking at Whitney Reservoir, Lyman Lake, or Bridger Lake. Any strong opinions on those? Any better suggestions?

I've been to Whitney 4 times in the last month and a half. Caught some Tiger Trout early on but the past couple times just rainbows. Just been drowning powerbait or worms. hasn't fast and furious but have caught a few each time. Fished over to Trial and it was pretty good with a fly and bobber.

Welcome to BFT! I just got back myself from teapot area. The trout are biting on pretty much anything you want to throw at them. I was using a fly and a bubble myself. Rigged my daughter up that way and she had a blast.
