Howdy, I just retired and will be moving from the Seattle area to Council Idaho. It is going to be a big transition leaving all the fishing hot spots in the Puget Sound , lakes, and rivers around here to head back up into the mountains again. Any body out there that likes to hunt and fish area 32A in Idaho...let me know. I grew up in the Flathead Valley in Montana, it is very similar (same elevation) but not too familiar with the Idaho hunting and fishing yet.

Welcome to BFT! Looking forward to hearing reports and stories. I hope we can help you with all your questions. Sorry I can't help aboout cthe coucil area but on the otherside of the mountain there is Cascade which is one of the best all around fisheries in maybe the whole state.

Welcome to Idaho. I moved here back in 1997 from Astoria, Oregon. Yes I miss the abundant salmon & steelhead fishing, but have really gotten into the trout fishing.
