Back in the Saddle
#1
July 5th I had a bad bicycle accident and shattered my left elbow. I had surgery on the 9th and now packing some metal. All good because July was so hot! But August 5th I had Xrays and all is healing up great.
Arm is stiff as heck and I can't straighten it or bend it more than 45 degree, but I can strip line and hold a rod while netting with right.
Gave it a try today and landed this 28". Missed two others and called it a day, but it is nice to be back at it.

Thanks Jim. Gave me a chance to get the Drifter customized. Now I am ready to use it. Rowing will be a ways off yet.

Oh, that is "sweet." I've been wanting a rod from those guys for a while. Have stopped in at Twin Bridges a couple times and nearly drooled to death.

Good to hear your back at it Joni! I've also got into some "trophy" LM at Pineview this Saturday.

So I've bought the Kraken [Smile] JR Carp here I come!

Sheesh... carp on a Sweetgrass bamboo rod is sacrilege if you care about such things! But I don't.

Glad you are back in the Saddle. Are you rowing yet?

I am in therapy, but I can't do the pressure thing just yet.
I did ride my bike, but the bumps hurt while holding the handlebars. Thanks
