Or you could just show up after they dump 7000 more of those babies into a small lake. This might be more helpful link https://dwrapps.utah.gov/fishstocking/Fish [

I think you skipped a few steps.
Step 1, Beat up your vehicle getting there. Step 2, Change flat. Step 3, Ease around passenger car that thought he could get up there. Step 4, Pick a fly small enough for those little fish to get their mouths around. [signature]

![]() Why so many? There already are too many mouths to feed in that lake. They were super skinny after they put in the first 3200. Share the love and put them in a few other lakes in the area. [signature]

I agree they'd would have been better to plant some of that 7000 elsewhere. Even if they're concerned about hybridization with cutts they have several lakes a short climb up that drain into Echo and already ahve a few holdovers from the 1970"s.
I wouldn't be surprised if a few don't get washed down into the North Fork of the Duchesne and caught there. [signature]

Step 4, Pick a fly small enough for those little fish to get their mouths around. [/quote] If one wants to catch them fast and furious, tie a small jig of some type under a bobber and tip with a small chunk of crawler, meal worm or about anything else. Remember, those fish are starving and they welcome the opportunity to eat something. [signature]

A plain red hook works very well especially at the spot shown where DWR dumped them in.

I have a fishing buddy who usually fishes ice fishing derbies without using any bait (and bait is allowed) and he often does very well. Me, I couldn't get a bite ice fishing without using bait.
