I'm still looking for that elusive 40incher but caught one in the ballpark on the Clearwater down by Lewiston today. It measured out at 37". Hooked him fishing shrimp under a bobber.
Fish seem to be spreading out a bit more now that the cooler weather has started. I'm guessing the Snake and Ronde are starting to put out a few more fish. There are plenty of fish in the Clearwater system which opens up on the 15th.
Time to be getting out!
