Gale force winds have forced cancellations through much of<br>last week. Over the weekend a small weather window allowed<br>the "make-up" charter of Brian Cairn’s group from Midland Park, NJ and Brian Ransom’s group of Whitman, MA to fish the Bank.<br>The group found calm seas in the early morning, however snow, <br>sleet and a pending SE gale limited the fishing time. Nevertheless,the Brians braved the elements as Capt. Scott positioned theDECISIVE over the piles of Market cod. The action was fast and furious as the cod fed voraciously prior to the passageof the low pressure system. The anglers worked tirelessly,filling the boxes with medium cod to 15 pounds using jigs and teaser rigs before the wind, tide and sea conditions made fishing difficult.
