Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley
#1
What a difference a day can make. Crappie fishing has been scattered but picking up until Tuesday. We have a major cold front with high winds on us and fishing is not very good. Very few fishermen are out. Crappie and largemouth are slow on both lakes. Small mouth are only fair on Kentucky Lake. When we get some warm sunshine the sauger could turn on below the dam in the tail waters. Minnows tipped with jigs usually work best just off the bottom. We need a few days of better weather to get our spring crappie started.

TIP: When it 16 degrees with 25 mph north winds, stay home.

BITS AND PIECES: "The joy of life is his who has the heart to demand it." Dave,
I wasn't hunting, I don't even own a gun. I was looking at the new post's to see if there was eney thing new since friday as I try to look at the board every day. But saterday was for me like you say " I had a brain farrrt " and stayed in bed till sunday morning. I like checking the board as there is a lot of good info posted every day. I like your ice fishing posts. I have never done it but if I ever do I will have enough info that it will be safe and organised.

Texas gulf cost fisher.
