Have Fished the Berry many times but never through the ice. Will be on foot, any suggestions on location and what type of bait/lure rigs to roll with? Was planning to target 20' or less water at first light...and then move deeper as the day progresses. Move around until the flasher lights up! White Tube jig tipped with a waxie to start ?? Taking my kids so want to get some action.
Any help appreciated.

I fish out of the marina normally. I usually end up walking toward the campground ( believe it's west from the parking lot), and try to get away from the crowds. I've caught them on waxies, but I recommend meal worms or redside shiners. White tubes or glow will both work well. I'll be there tomorrow too... stop and say hello to the 6'4" guy in the green coat. :-)
