Fair afternoon on the ice. The Nils Auger was Fantastic! 10 inches ice in seconds. New rod holders were great.

I always wonder why folks fish in the middle of the lake?..no structure or anything else that might attract fish. Any way there were a few ice tents on the ice. Its was so warm everyone was sitting outside.
I started in about 15 ft. And ended up in 10ft. Caught 8 fish and lost a couple.

I was down there a few weeks ago. Need to get back down there again with my Pops.

Looks like an absolutely beautiful day on the ice...well done!

For those that may be fishing this weekend. Power bait on my jaw jacker was king. I used everything in the box.
There will be alot traffic on the lake so get there early.
Don't get taken in by anglers fishing in the middle of nowhere. Fish the shore lines. Keep moving until you find the right depth and fish.
