Caught a few at the Berry today. All cutthroats, one slot buster. I noticed 2 patterns today:

1- Fish hugging the bottom in 18 - 20 feet of water. These guys were moving slow and biting very softly. and

2- Fish within a few feet of the ice in 13 - 15 feet of water. These fish were pretty aggressive, they would grab it and run. One was so shallow, I literally pulled his head through the hole when I set the hook. If I would have had my finder on zoom I never would have known they were there.

Ice was about 8- 10 inches. Not as many people there as there were the last couple of weeks. Still a tent city, but not a tent metropolis. Beautiful day. About 13 degrees when I got there at 7:30 and 40 degrees by afternoon.

Home in time for football!
