I've never posted on here so I don't know if I'm doing it right. On thursday I went to east canyon and fished for an hour and a half. All the ice is gone except for by the dam there was a very thin sheet. I caught two rainbows that were both two and a half pounds and had two others on that got off. pretty good fishing. I was on the west side. Also drove past pineview today and there wasn't any ice on it except for by the dam

Hey, welcome to the forum. And yeah you did it right.
Thanks for the report on the fishing and the open water. It sounds like the fishing was pretty good.

I would like to put in my plug nickel too. Wife & I took a ride to EC 2-14 Valentines Day. Main body is soft but hard deck still persists just off of launch ramp wrapping around to the dam area which is preventing boats from reaching main body. It'll be ice free within a matter of a couple of days. I have notice lake level has risen to the top of concrete of old dam.

I bot a new humminbird Onix fishfinder so need to learn how to use it.
