Any thoughts on where to go for the first trip of the year? I'm planning to take the day off Friday and was thinking about going to Jordanelle for Browns or Willard to target Wiper and Walleye.
I'd like to try both but I'm planning on hitting the Sportsman's Expo on Saturday to stock up on some fishing supplies.
I'm not asking for any secret information, just wondering if anybody has had any luck recently at either of these reservoirs.

From the reports I've read, Willard has been tough. I would take my chances at Jordanelle with trout and smallies IMO. Either way...enjoy your time out on the water! Beautiful!
I know where I'll be...Sand Hollow in 70 degree weather with the shorts and flip flops on ripping some LM lips! [sly]

Willard has been extremely painful to fish! Maybe with this warm weather this week they'll turn on, but I'd head to Jordanelle.

Vote #3 for Jordanelle.
I fished Willard twice last week and caught exactly zero fish.
We have, however, had a few very warm days as of late and I think that is what it's going to take to get things going at Willard.

That's a tough question for me. Those two places give me the skunk more than anywhere else. I'm heading to East Canyon. There are Browns there also.

Thanks for the input. I'm guessing neither place will be super hot but I'm itching to get out and do some fishing. It will be better than working for sure!
