One makes posts all the time on KSL in the Fishing Tackle and Equipment section:

if it's the same guy my friend went out with you may want to say your money , he had no boat, no ride ,had to be picked up, and tried scoring some weed while out on the trip. so he may not be the pro guide he advertises.

May be the same guy. It appears that he fishes from the shore. May not even be licensed as a guide. I would suggest that you ask him if he is licensed and then confirm it with the state.

Sounds like a real quality guide.[Image: happy.gif]

Years ago I met a guy that wanted to guide but it sounded like the Forest Service didn't allow professional guides on the reservoir. I could be wrong but maybe he just didn't want to go through the hoops(or pony the $) to be a certified guide.

they did catch 1 small muskie, I'm sure the guy knows how to fish but I think he's charging you so you can take him fishing not the other way around if you know what I mean

My bro went with the KSL guy. Fishes from shore, not boat.
He went with his buddy they both landed 1 muskie in the journey.
