Jordanelle 3/27/15
#1
Let me just say, whoever it was who slammed into my boat and broke off $35 worth of tackle from my rods all while I was trying to launch my boat this morning, just pray I never recognize you or your boat again. I have never come across someone so ignorant in my life. The boat ramp is large enough for SEVERAL boats to launch! So why you launched on top of me, broke my stuff and sped off like cowards, I will never understand?
With that being said, Jordanelle is on the rise! Both water levels and temps. The surface temp was 47 degrees when I left today, so the bass fishing should pick up soon. We picked up several Browns on the down riggers again. I got off to a late start because of the moron mentioned above but the quality of fish was much better. They look much fatter and more healthy looking than two weeks ago. The majority of the ones caught were at 50 feet suspended in 90 feet of water. Floating debris is starting to come down from the river runoff, so use caution in the south arm!

That's a bummer. It's hard to figure some people out. We are heading up there in the morning. I hope the fish are biting[fishon]

Call Jordanelle DWR office and give them a time period when it could of happened because they might be able to check the cameras for the idiot leaving.

Did you catch anything close to shore? I'm still debating where I want to take my dad on Sunday. He would be on shore while I'd be on a float tube.

Funny, I went to Jordanelle today and some idiot parked his boat behind me while I was trying to launch, some people! Banged up the back of my boat a little, anyways left the ramp and fished from shore....

I kid, I kid...sucks about the boat, glad fishing was decent.

Thanks, that's a good idea with the cameras! There are small rainbows cruising along the shorelines. I'm sure if he was just bait fishing, he could catch something near the boat ramps? Personally, if it were me and the reports are correct, I'd head to Starvation!!!

Wow.... I guess that I got lucky.... I was up there today too, and didn't have any issues with other boaters.

The water is definitely up, and dirtier, with lots of debris. Fishing was a bit slower than in weeks past, but I still managed to catch five browns, and one rainbow. Nothing bigger than 19", and all released. Fred K.

It was slower than last week for us too. I took some guys out who had never fished before, so it didn't matter to them. They all caught a few and thought it was great. So all and all, I guess it was a good day👍
